At the McLendon Hills Equestrian Center, our mission is to provide a welcoming, beautiful, and safe, facility which fosters a sense of community for horses and riders from a variety of disciplines and offers exemplary stewardship for the horses in our care.

Located in Moore County, in West End, NC. Just outside of Seven Lakes, the McLendon Hills Equestrian Center offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The 23-acre Equestrian Center is at the front entrance to a private gated community and provides lessons and horse boarding for residents and non-residents alike. We are only 30 minutes from the Walthour-Moss Foundation which has over 4000 acres of protected land available for use by all equestrians, and 35 minutes from the Carolina Horse Park. Perhaps of interest to golfers, we are also only 15 minutes from Pinehurst NC - the site of four USGA US Opens, US Women's Open, and other prestigious events.
The area is fortunate to have many equine professionals including health and dental veterinarians, sport horse rehab facilities, saddle and tack providers, farriers, professional trainers in varied disciplines and many other equine related providers. Many of them come to the McLendon Hills equestrian facility on a regular basis.

Our equestrian facility offers a variety of boarding services to meet the needs of every horse and rider. Full care board includes:
- Daily Turnout
- Blanketing on and off
- Feed twice per day with Triple Crown Feeds
- Supplements are given in SmartPaks or in prepared containers owners provide
- Bermuda Coastal hay, owners may purchase their own hay

Riding is open to the discipline of your choice and caters to riders of all ages and experience. Our on-site barn manager offers lessons and places a strong emphasis on the teaching of fine horsemanship skills and practices no matter what the discipline. Guest trainers are welcome for boarders and McLendon Hills residents. We also host clinics, a schooling show and continuing education sessions.

- Our equestrian facility has private access to miles of trails that meander around the perimeter of the McLendon Hills gated community through woods and across streams.
- The trails are well maintained by the community and have multiple access points for emergency vehicles if that ever becomes a necessity.
